SCORE: 6.0/10 (You can read my review here) While this third-person shooter is a spin-off of the Saints Row franchise, it’s not nearly as weird or as outrageous as the best Saints Row games - Saints Row The Third and Saints Row IV - and is instead rather bland and toothless. Which, if this game is any indication, is boring and super easy and just a matter of tapping on a screen once on a while. Though it’s based on a silly but fun and arcadey racing game series, this mobile game went a different route and made you the guy who runs the cab company.

Take the hint this game’s generic name is sending you: This is a pedestrian car combat game with terrible controls and a lack of variety when it comes to its vehicles. While this started off as a really kick-ass hack & slash & shoot action game, it changed after the first level into a rote, deeply flawed, and ultimately dull open-world role-playing game. SCORE: 5.0/10 (You can read my review here) And it just got more and more annoying the more I played. But after two hours of basically playing “Rock, Paper, Scissors,” while also dealing with other enemies who I’d cut down like they were blades of grass, I grew weary of this repetitive in-action game. The first time I played this game, I appreciated that you could not only aim where you swung your sword, but also had to perfectly place it to block incoming attacks as well. And then there’s the game on this list: the worst games I played in 2017.
